Rain Stella Technologies
Chief Product Officer
Leading product strategy for a merged health-tech company delivering voice AI, EMR, and health information exchange across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
RST was formed from the merger of RAIN (voice AI) and Stella Technology (medtech/EMR), which I helped orchestrate from the product side. The portfolio spans three platforms: Orva, a voice AI system for the operating room; Equinox, a cloud EMR suite; and Constellation, a health information exchange for emerging markets.
I took Orva from concept to product-market fit at Adam Vital Hospital — the first live deployment of surgical voice AI in the region. Equinox is now being expanded with generative AI capabilities and a go-to-market push into Saudi Arabia. Constellation was repositioned from a US-centric cloud model to a cloud-agnostic platform, with a pending country-wide installation in Jordan.
Under the hood, the team has built a proprietary ML stack: accent-tuned wake words, surgical-grade ASR, RAG-based LLMs, and agentic workflows that automate complex clinical tasks.

HeyOrtho
Creator & Product Lead
Conceived and built a voice assistant for automotive repair technicians — hands-free, eyes-up, portable — taking it from zero to product-market fit in four months.
HeyOrtho was the voice assistant for technicians. The idea came from noticing a “deskless workforce” whitespace — repair techs who needed diagnostic data but couldn’t touch a screen with greasy hands under a car hood. I conceived the product, shaped the UX, and led the team that took it from napkin sketch to working product in roughly four months.
The system delivered hands-free access to maintenance intervals, technical service bulletins, component locations, and specs & diagrams — all powered by MOTOR data. A pilot with AutoCentric, an independent shop in Grand Rapids, MI, validated the concept in a real-world repair environment.
HeyOrtho became the blueprint for RAIN’s pivot from voice agency to SaaS company, and the strategic narrative around deskless workers helped secure a $3M Series A (Stanley Ventures) and an $11M Series B. The product DNA — voice AI for high-stakes, hands-busy professionals — carried directly into what became Orva at RST.

RAIN Agency
Chief Strategy Officer / VP, Growth & Partnerships
Built the voice AI practice from the ground up — 65+ voice experiences, Fortune 100 clients, and a company valuation that tripled from $17M to $52M.
RAIN was one of the first agencies built entirely around voice AI, and I joined early enough to shape what that meant. Over six years I wore several hats — strategy, growth, partnerships — and helped grow voice-specific revenue from under $500K to consistent multi-million dollar years across 65+ industry-defining voice experiences.
The client roster spanned categories: Nike, Nestlé, Starbucks, HBO, Headspace, Hilton, BlackRock, Pfizer, Campbell’s, Mars, Tiffany, and others. I managed strategic accounts with Google and Amazon directly, served on the Google Assistant Top Partner Advisory Board, and co-developed Alexa ecosystems with Amazon’s team.
- Nike Adapt BB — voice-powered sneaker drop that sold out in under 6 minutes. 3 Cannes Lions.
- Headspace — meditation via Alexa. Webby Award, 90% user retention.
- Starbucks — voice ordering that drove 16% higher average cart size.
- Game Show Network — Common Knowledge, named Best Alexa Skill of 2019.
Beyond client work, I led RAIN’s thought leadership effort, including The Perfect AI Assistant — a research report studying what voice tech users actually want from an AI companion.
The findings shaped how we pitched and built for every client after it shipped. I also identified the “deskless workforce” whitespace that reframed the company’s strategic narrative and helped secure a $3M Series A (Stanley Ventures) and $11M Series B — tripling the valuation from $17M to $52M.
